Warranty

Mirax fuel tanks carry a conditional three-year warranty from the date of the first consumer sale by Mirax or any authorized dealer of Mirax products against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty is voided if the tank is not properly installed, is used in a manner other than that for which the tank was intended, and/or in any case where unauthorized repair work, or modification has been done on the tank. This warranty applies to the person who originally purchases the fuel tank and is not transferable.

Claims Procedure:

Customers wishing to file a claim under this warranty must contact Mirax either by phone or in writing. Mirax can be contacted at Mirax, Attn: Warranty Claims Dept., 1675-#103 Kiowa Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 or by calling (928) 680-5670. If the tank was purchased from a Mirax authorized dealer the customer should contact the dealer and have the dealer contact Mirax.

When a claim is filed either by the customer or dealer, he or she must provide the date the tank was sold by Mirax and to whom it was sold so that determination can be made if the tank is under warranty. If the tank was sold to a dealer the date the dealer sold it to the customer is also needed. If the tank is covered under warranty instructions will be given as to how the tank will be returned to Mirax or its authorized dealer. The tank may be repaired, replaced or another reasonable course of action taken by Mirax. It is at the sole discretion of Mirax to determine which course of action is the most practical in fulfilling the obligations of this warranty.
Note: Mirax will not pay for, or reimburse the cost of repair work or other labor (including labor costs for the removal of the tank) unless prior authorization is received from Mirax.
